A Sword is Born

Why a sword? In self defense, distance and precision- wouldn't a gun be a better choice? I would agree with ya.

In scriptures we learn that long before the age of mankind, swords were forged in heaven and carried by the mightiest of angels, some may have not seen yet.

what was the 1st sword we know of in the Word?- The flaming sword to keep adam and eve out. it was turning every way to guard the entrance Gen 3:24

What was the last mention of the sword?- Rev. 19:15-16

What is the use of the sword today- in the hands of God's Warriors----Swords are weapons of light and Life and utter destruction on the enemy in heavenly realms.

God's Word is a God sword. Social media the Sword I see is often used against each other.. Theology and Arguing over what religion is right or wrong. Because of division many times we waste away our sword or break off pieces against another's armor.

Our swords are only effective when they are unified together, the scripture comes to mind that says where 2 or more are gathered together...or as iron sharpens iron, and Ecc 4:9-12 read this one.

the enemy is not afraid of a disjointed church that wields broken swords.. but he does fear the body of Christ that rises up with the sword of his word reforged and expressed through our lives as one.

The sword entrusted to us is more then mere ancient...its eternal.

We are in a time where matt gives us the words of Jesus in Matt 10:34 Read it

The more we know and understand the Word of God, the more useful we will be in doing the will of God and the more effective we will be in standing against the enemy of our souls.
